By programming four RGB LEDs, students can adjust the color and intensity of light passing through optical fibers to create custom lighting effects. For instance, two colors of light can meet and gradually shift from one end of the optical fiber to the other, allowing students to add dynamic motion to a static display through their own creative work.

Paired with background music played through a buzzer, the setting is no longer silent.

Through the practical application of optical fibers, students will understand fundamental optical principles (such as total internal reflection, scattering, refraction, and more).
